I love this style.  It just all came together first time of asking, and when that happens, you know you’re onto something.  I also like the analogue clock’s homage to dotWidget.

This style demonstrates how a simple feature can have a big impact.  The time to be displayed is generated by setting the text component of the notification to a specially formatted date string.  The format is a universal “YYYYMMDDHHMMSS” syntax so, to display a time of 11.24 on 23 September 2011 (as per the images below), the application would pass “20110923112436” in the text component.

Two schemes are provided: Analog and Digital.  No prizes for guessing which is which…
